The Finance Manager, Finance PMO, is responsible for driving the successful execution of Finance’s strategic priorities, transformation initiatives, and cross-functional projects. The role serves as a central point of coordination across Finance and the broader business, ensuring priorities are clearly defined, initiatives are appropriately resourced, milestones are achieved, and outcomes are delivered.

  This role acts as a strategic partner to Finance leadership, providing structure, governance, and transparency across the Finance portfolio. The Finance PMO will establish consistent project management disciplines, facilitate decision-making, identify risks and dependencies, and ensure Finance initiatives remain aligned with overall business objectives.

  The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen with excellent project management, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.

  Key Responsibilities

  Finance Portfolio & PMO Leadership

  • Establish and manage the Finance PMO framework, including governance, prioritization, project planning, reporting, and escalation processes.

  • Maintain a consolidated view of Finance initiatives, priorities, timelines, resources, dependencies, risks, and expected benefits.

  • Partner with Finance leadership to translate strategic priorities into actionable initiatives and execution plans.

  • Develop and maintain executive-level dashboards and reporting to provide clear visibility into progress, risks, decisions, and outcomes.

  •  Facilitate regular portfolio reviews with Finance leadership and key business stakeholders.

  • Ensure projects have clear objectives, accountable owners, milestones, deliverables, and success measures.

  • Identify competing priorities and resource constraints and support leadership in making trade-off decisions.

  Finance Transformation & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead or coordinate Finance transformation initiatives focused on improving processes, systems, data, controls, reporting, and organizational effectiveness.

  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, automate, and improve Finance processes.

  • Support Finance teams in developing business cases, benefits assessments, implementation plans, and change-management strategies.

  • Track realization of financial and operational benefits from transformation initiatives.

  • Promote a continuous-improvement mindset across Finance.

Cross-Functional Business Partnership

  • Act as a key Finance interface for major enterprise initiatives involving Finance, Operations, IT, Commercial, Supply Chain, HR, and other functions.

  • Ensure Finance requirements are clearly defined and incorporated into broader business projects.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve issues, manage dependencies, and maintain momentum.

  • Provide constructive challenge to ensure initiatives are supported by sound financial analysis and aligned with business priorities.

Financial Management & Analysis

  • Provide financial analysis and insight to support prioritization, investment decisions, and strategic initiatives.

  • Develop financial models, business cases, forecasts, and scenario analyses as required.

  • Monitor project financial performance, including budgets, costs, benefits, and ROI.

  • Support Finance leadership with ad hoc analysis and decision support on strategic priorities.

Governance, Risk & Controls

  • Establish appropriate governance and decision-making structures for Finance initiatives.

  • Proactively identify project risks, issues, dependencies, and potential impacts to Finance or the business.

  • Ensure appropriate escalation and resolution of critical issues.

  • Support Finance leadership in maintaining strong financial controls and governance throughout transformation initiatives.

Change Management & Communication

  • Develop clear communication plans for Finance initiatives and ensure stakeholders understand objectives, impacts, timelines, and required actions.

  • Facilitate workshops, steering committees, and working sessions with senior stakeholders.

  • Support adoption of new processes, systems, and ways of working.

  • Communicate complex financial and project information in a concise, executive-friendly manner.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.

  • CPA, CMA, MBA, or equivalent designation is an asset.

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in Finance, FP&A, Finance Transformation, Finance Operations, or related areas.

  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives or transformation programs.

  • Strong understanding of financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, management reporting, and business performance.

  • Experience working with senior Finance and business leaders.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills; formal PM certification is an asset.

  • Experience with ERP, financial planning, BI, data, or Finance technology initiatives is an asset.

In Waidhofen an der Thaya entstehen seit 1979 Werkzeuge für Kunststoffverschlüsse. Aus KTW wurde Husky-KTW, der österreichische Standort des kanadischen Spritzgieß-Konzerns Husky Technologies. Verschlüsse für Wasser- und Softdrinkflaschen, wie sie in jedem Supermarktregal stehen, entstehen mit dieser Art von Technik in Millionenstückzahlen. An der Brunnerstraße dreht sich heute alles um Technik, Service und Kundenanlagen.

Husky liefert komplette Spritzgießsysteme, also Maschine, Werkzeug und Heißkanal aus einer Hand. Kunden sind Getränkeabfüller, Verpackungshersteller und die Medizintechnik. Der Konzern beschäftigt nach eigenen Angaben mehr als 4.300 Menschen, betreut Kunden in über 140 Ländern und hält dafür rund 600 Fachleute in 40 Service- und Vertriebsbüros bereit (husky.co, Stand August 2026). Gefertigt wird vor allem in Kanada, den USA, Luxemburg und China. Der Hauptsitz liegt in Bolton, Ontario. Seit Januar 2026 gehört Husky zur an der New Yorker Börse notierten GPGI, Inc.

Der österreichische Standort hat seine eigene Vorgeschichte. KTW baute hier Werkzeuge für Verschlüsse und galt in dieser Nische international als eine der ersten Adressen; 2011 übernahm Husky das Unternehmen und machte Waidhofen zum Kompetenzzentrum für Verschlusswerkzeuge. 2019 verlagerte der Konzern die Fertigung an andere Gruppenstandorte, geblieben sind Service und Technik. Husky-KTW arbeitet seither als Vertriebs-, Dienstleistungs- und Ingenieurbüro.

Die aufrechten Gewerbeberechtigungen lauten auf Mechatronik für Maschinen- und Fertigungstechnik, für Elektronik und für Automatisierungstechnik. Das beschreibt den Arbeitsalltag ziemlich genau. Servicetechnikerinnen und Techniker halten Anlagen beim Kunden am Laufen, rüsten ältere Maschinen um und lassen Heißkanäle aufarbeiten, dazu kommen Vertrieb und Auftragsabwicklung. Sieben Servicezentren der Gruppe überwachen Kundenanlagen rund um die Uhr, und für die fachliche Schulung von Bedienern und Technikern betreibt Husky eine eigene Learning Academy.

Wer hier einsteigt, hat mit Kolleginnen und Kollegen in Luxemburg, Tschechien und Kanada zu tun. Wie viele Menschen derzeit am Standort beschäftigt sind, veröffentlicht das Unternehmen nicht; 2019 war von 30 bis 40 Stellen im Servicebereich die Rede. Die Adresse ist seit über vier Jahrzehnten dieselbe: Brunnerstraße, 3830 Waidhofen an der Thaya.
